Leanne,
Once again you have exceeded my expectations for a great trip. As you know, my group kept growing and went from 4 people to 7 and I was worried. Things could not have been any better! You accommodated our group and everyone had a wonderful time and we are making plans to do it again next year, if not before. Our first day offshore, we hooked and landed 4 sails, 1 dorado, and 12 tuna. We had an incredible meal as the Chef you provided us with prepared the dorado and some tuna that was out of this world. Many of the guys said that it was the best meal that they have ever had! The second day inshore we had 3 boats out and were into Jack, Rooster and Spanish Mackerel. The villa Manakin was a nice touch and very relaxing for the hectic schedule that we were on. Thanks again to you and Sam for making our excursion one of the best yet!
See you Soon!

Costa Rica Trip,
We Found this company via Google. Leanne was incredibly helpful in organizing our trip from boat charter for a 2 day offshore sailfish trip, to connecting flights within CR and hotel accommodations. The really amazing part was her ability to change flights etc at the last minute due to a monster snowstorm in the Northeast US that resulted in flight cancellations and re-bookings. Leanne was able to change the itinerary on the fly and made for a very smooth and fun trip. We caught a lot of fish and all four of us had an amazing time. The Tuna we caught we enjoyed out to Dinner for lots of Shashimi and Grilled Tuna Steaks

Hi Leanne,
Sport fishing with Quepos Sailfishing Charters was one of the most memorable days of my life. This company really bends over backward to make sure that every detail is just right. They've got gorgeous boats,high-tech equipment and an unbeatable staff. I caught 6 out of 9
sailfish in one day! Read all about it on my blog
Thanks,

Leanne,
After last year's wonderful arrangement of the ground transportation, the house, the gourmet chef, and fishing charters, you out did yourself with this year's booking of the Pacific Provider. The staff and the boat are uniquely wonderful, and I would recommend it for a family that likes sport fishing and water/shore activities. We enjoyed the luxury of staying on the Motor Yacht but heading out each day on the Sportfishers both inshore and offshore. Again all the family thanks you for the personal attention and great arrangements for the holiday vacation.
Best wishes;
Dr. Randall Lortscher

Hi Leanne,
From start to finish, my second visit to use Quepos Sailfishing Charters
for my charters and hotel booking was executed flawlessly and I could not
be more pleased, especially considering the last minute nature of planning
the trip. Sam was an absolute blast to have around during my visit, and he
was one of the highlights of the trip, for sure! On the first day of
fishing, Sam joined me on the Flyatcher for a full day of inshore for
Roosters. Captain Nano and his mate got us hooked up on 5 fish, and we
landed two Roosters. It was great having both the mate and Sam give tips
and pointers to reel in my very first and second Roosters, as it required
more finesse than what I am used to offshore. All three of the guys were
great.
On the second day of inshore fishing with the Flycatcher, a half day, we
had many bites and landed 2 Jack Crevalles and it was a ton of fun to reel
them in! The mate and I also casted the popper from time to time and both
of us got very excited when we spotted a school of Jacks materialize out
of nowhere agressively pursuing the popper, that was an awesome sight!
Just before wrapping up the day I had a big bite on the rod that I was
freelining and set the hook into what we think was a decent sized snapper
and thought we had a shot at a fish dinner, but that bad boy took off for
the rocks about 10 minutes into the fight and managed to hide in a cave
somewhere and we broke the line clean. Great experience! Nano and the
mate were true professionals and I really enjoyed being out on thier boat.
Can't wait to get back down again, and looking for a way to get back
during the peak Sailfish season. Hope to see you soon!
Regards,
Ed

This was our third trip with Quepos Sailfishing Charters who truly takes care of our every need every time. Trip May 14 on Pez Espada with Glenn & Michael could have not been any better. 3 sails hooked & landed plus a 500+ lb. Blue Marlin fought and unhooked on side of boat was as good as it gets. May 15 for ½ day on Idra with Ricardo & Elvis searching for Roosterfish only produced 1, but enjoyed trip with them as usual.
Already planning next trip & see you soon.

Hi Guys
I can mark off sail fish on my bucket list now thanks to you and the crew. Ricardo and Elvis worked extra hard to find our fish and we ended up being one of the few successful boats that day. The care and concern for our comfort and enjoyment is rarely found nowadays and it is the reason that our trip was such a success. Marlintini's was awesome and is, without a doubt, the best dining in Quepos. I'll be back in December and look forward to getting together for some great food, drink and especially fishing.

Hi Leanne and Sam,
You guys made our fishing experience perfect from start to finish.
Your personal knowledge of Chartered Billfishing of the coast of Quepos
guarantees all the fishing trip of a "Lifetime". Your further knowledge
of Charter Boats hooked us up with the "Best" Captain Dale and Mate
Danny on Blue Water III. We had so much fun the first day we
caught 4 Sailfish we booked a second day and invited our friends.
Dale and Danny worked their Magic on day 2 and we all caught fish 3 Sailfish
and 1 Mahi Mahi "If we only had more time"!! We had our best meal
while in Costa Rica at"Marlintini's" the seafood, martini's and service
were exceptional and my husband beat the bartender in a close
and exciting game of foosball. We are planning our next trip later
this year or early next year and without a doubt will be booking our
fishing trips with Quepos Sailfishing Charter.
Thanks again Leanne and Sam

Hi Sam and Leanne -
Thanks to you we had the trip of a lifetime! We put together an itinerary to visit Quepos and go fishing and you really helped in making the journey special and painless. Six sailfish and two mahi mahi- what a blast! Say hola to Cheetah for us. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be calling you for our arrangements.
Marlintini's is the bomb! They did a great job with the mahi we caught, serving it several tasty ways. The drinks were perfect as well. The chefs are ok foosball players, but sore losers. Just kidding, guys!!! We can't wait for our rematch.
You have a great thing going down there in Quepos. Keep up the good work and we will be in touch soon.

Leanne/Sam,
How are you all doing? I hope all is good with you in Costa Rica. Sorry it has taken me a little while to email you all. Kelley is now back in Afghanistan and I have been going fast and furious since getting back to work.
Kelley and I are still talking about how wonderful our trip to Quepos was in January. We owe it all to you and Sam and your staff (Laura, Elias, the cook and bartender) there at Marlintini's. You all made us feel like we had been friends forever. We hope to be friends for years to come as we plan on coming back for more fishing in the near future.
We decided to visit Quepos this trip as Kelley wanted to do some deep sea fishing. We saw your restaurant, Marlintini's, and stopped in for dinner. We met Elias that evening and asked him about deep sea fishing.. and he called Sam. Before dinner was over we were booked with Quepos fishing... it was that easy! I realized afterward that I had seen your website and all the wonderful testimonials and then knew we were in great hands. We booked the boat "The Caribsea"... This boat was fabulous as well as the crew, (Joseph, George and Orlando). We had the best time ever, as it was just Kelley and I on this big boat...I just kept thinking this was "the way to fish". Within 30 minutes we hooked a sailfish.. it was spectacular fishing from then until the end. I caught 3 sailfish and a mahimahi and Kelley caught 4 sailfish all ranging from 120 -145 pounds. The crew took great care of us, they really knew what they were doing. We had a terrific lunch and just the most relaxing time ever.. I can't wait to do it again!! We returned late that afternoon and Sam greeted us to see how our fishing went for the day. He then took our mahimahi with him back to the restaurant and said they would have it cooked and ready for us that evening for dinner. I kept thinking WOW..it doesn't get any better than this.... but, it did. We arrived for dinner...and the fish was fabulous. Kelley could not believe that I ate the ceviche...it was delicious. We continued to have our dinner and lunches at Marlintini's as the food was great, the staff was so friendly and we enjoyed spending time talking with you and Sam. We were planning on leaving Quepos, but after meeting you all and talking with you about all the things to do.. we decided to stay. Sam helped us by recommending another hotel "LaMariposa". which we loved, the views were magnificent. Leanne, Thank you for setting us up for the ATV tours and the Jet Ski tour. We had the best time on the ATV's riding through the mud and water. The Jet Ski tour turned out to be something we will treasure forever as we got to see the whales and the dolphins, which I consider to be the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. This trip proved to be one of the most remarkable Kelley and I have taken during our traveling.
Thank you and your staff....for all your help!! We greatly appreciated all you did to make this trip the most memorable.
We look forward to seeing you next year! Keep in touch! We wish you all the best!

My wife and I visited Quepos, Costa Rica in January 2009 for a family wedding. For years we had heard about the fishing on the west coast of the country and had to try our hand at it. We found Quepos Sailfishing Charters online at www.queposfishing.com and reached out to them to setup a charter. We had our concerns about setting up a charter from thousands of miles away, but Leanne at Quepos Sailfishing responded to us immediately and worked with us to arrange both the fishing trip and our accommodations at a beautiful local hotel. We immediately felt, even over the distance, that we were dealing with a competent team and their professional approach gave us confidence in our choice. We chartered "Reel Deal", run by Capt. Glenn and Mate Marvin. Wonderful local food and drink were provided on the well maintained and spotless boat, and they were great hosts. The best part though was the fishing! We boated four sailfish over the course of the day while observing beautiful porpoise and sailfish leaping out of the water all around us just having fun! I would recommend this professional establishment and their crews for your next Costa Rican fishing trip! Simply give Leanne and her team a shout!

Hi Leanne.
Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time fishing!! Gerry and Michael(not sure of the spelling) were great. Gerry got me a nice sailfish, which made the whole day! And Michael was working hard all day, in addition to keeping us in cold cerveza's!! We got some cool pictures. I'll forward you some as soon as I receive. Wanted to also thank you for helping me coordinate and set everything up. I'm already planning another trip down there and will defintate book through you, and recomend to others as well. I was wondering if you can send me a Quepos Fishing Shirt? The Shirts are awesome and I loved seeing them on the crew.
Thanks again.

Leanne,
Thanks for organizing a great trip for me! In addition to the great
fishing, your bookings for horseback riding and the personal guide for the
park were excellent and I would recomend them to anybody!
Now onto the important stuff....On day one of fishing, Glenn and Raul on
the Reel Deal quickly warmed me up within 30 minutes of setting the lines
putting me on a average sized female Dorado. We trolled the rest of the
day and ended up with 4 nice size Sailfish on a reguarly occuring basis
that were alot of fun to reel in! Afterwards, I headed over to
Marlintini's restaurant to have the kitchen staff prepare me my Dorado
catch in a three course meal..the Dorado ceviche was simply outstanding,
and the main Dorado course was cooked perfectly, nice and flaky!
On day two of fishing, the Reel Deal team started me out trolling for some
Rosters for about an hour near the ledges..I did get one massive bite that
snapped the line right off at the hook, on lighter tackle than what we use
out in the bluewater, so I was happy enough I know what the bite is like
for next time! After heading out to the bluewater, like clockwork, 30
minutes after setting out the lines, Glenn and Raul put me on a BIG
Sail...pushing 150 pounds plus and was super fun to reel in. They put me
on 3 more Sailfish througout the day, I called it a day after Sail #4,
about 15 minutes before quitting time, and Glenn and Raul were nice enough
to ask if I wanted to try the afternoon Roosterfish bite! Glenn and Raul
are very polite, hard working Ticos with armed with great fishing
techniques, and the Reel Deal was a great boat to be out on. I will
definitely be using them again!
See you next season Amiga!

Hi Leanne,
I just wanted to reiterate to you how fantastic a fishing adventure you were able to facilitate for me. My first day out on the Idra II exceeded any expectations. Capt. Ricardo and Elvis make a fine Team, and Elvis' rigging of the baits definitely ensured firm hook-ups, which I am sure contributed to our success in raising 8 sails on our first day out. Just when we thought we had fished-out the area, BAM!!! Another strike and we added a fine Dorado to our catch. Boating and releasing the double hook-up sailfish was the icing on the cake... All I could say was "WOW", what a day!!!! Definitely a fantastic way to kick-off the Christmas Holiday. Oh yeah, Elvis' Christmas tamales on Christmas Eve were freakin' awesome!!!!! The fishing wasn't bad either, with more sails and Dorado to add to the catch. Regards to both you and Sam, and thanks again for the fantastic memories! See you next year!

Enjoyed our trip to Quepos on 7/24/08. Wish it had been longer, but we accomplished what we went for. The Idra II
with Ricardo Puliti and Capt. Ricardo were a great team. We each
caught an avg. size Rooster fish. Your Mgr. Randall did a great job
on all our wishes. We will be contacting you in the nt. couple of
weeks for two days of fishing in Feb/March. We really enjoyed the
area and plan to fish their in the future.
Again, Thanks for everything and a Great group you have working for you.

Leanne,
Hoping this finds you well...
Sorry it's taken so long to respond, "re-entry" was brutal.
Wow... were to begin... Everything was incredible. From the accommodations to the food and drink, we wanted for nothing !
The service was outstanding and the view from our room at the Mariposa was one of the highlights. Thank you helping us enjoy a trip truly of a lifetime. We ate out every night, visiting "Marlintini's" 3 times. (Great Place)
I caught Red Snapper almost daily and gave them to a different restaurant to prepare. It didn't take Kathy and I long at all to drop into vacation mode and I can't remember the last time I read a book in 2 days.
Our thanks once again goes out to you, your staff (and awesome Chef at Marlintini's), our driver and all who helped Kathy and I feel not only welcome but really special.
We'll be back next year.
With appreciation,

Hello,
We want to say thanks for a fantastic day on the Reel Deal. Captain Glen, Elvis, and Chris were wonderful and patient with us. The sailfish were especially exciting and memorable. We cannot wait to do it again soon. Eating our fresh grouper, snapper and mahi that night prepared at the restaurant was super bonus.

Leanne,
I cant tell you how much fun the "PLUM FUN FISHING TEAM" had on our recent trip. Hanier and Coco were the best. WE even had civichi (south Mississippi spelling) made by Hanier on our Saturday trip!!! We landed six sails, one triple hook up!!! Also one dolphin. The villa Casa Maravilla was better then we expected. Choosing Chef Ron was the best thing we did on the entire trip. What a great young man! Service was the best from all the staff. Thanks for all your help in putting together another outstanding adventure. You know I will be back with the crew plus maybe some new faces. I will forward the teams pictures in a few days...thanks again

Leanne,
We hope you and your family are doing well. We are busy with the hustle and bustle of American life but dreaming of returning to Pure Vida.
We don't believe that any words could adequately describe our experience in Costa Rica in November
The "Three Brothers" was a perfect selection for our fishing adventures. The crew was highly qualified and incredibly attentive. Riding on that magnificent boat with the breathtaking view was amazing enough. The fact that we actually caught fish was a huge bonus. We were totally excited with our catches and anxiously await our next fishing trip.
We hated to leave Quepos, but soon found we were completely delighted with our next destination, the Lost Iguana. You selected the accommodations so perfectly for our expectations!! It was fabulous.
However, our visit to the Peace Lodge was the most remarkable lodging we have ever pampered ourselves with. It certainly was incomparable to anything we could have imagined. Our birthdays were the unforgettable celebrations we had hoped for.
We felt impelled to write you and thank you wholeheartedly for all your work in making our dream a reality (sorry it took so long).
Also, we want to enlist your help again. We have fallen in love with Costa Rica and want to return in 2009. I failed to thank you for introducing us to our driver, Daxx. He was such a delightful person; we regretted that we only used his services on the last part of our trip. Anyway, Daxx mentioned some possible destinations in southern Costa Rica. We are interested in visiting in the prime sportfishing season. Perhaps you could make some suggestions and we can begin to plan our return trip.
A few pictures are attached. The smiles on our faces are evidence of our satisfaction with your services.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth and Derr McElwee

Leanne,
What a fishing trip, it couldn't have been better. It exceeded all our expectations...Captain Hainer and Coco were phenomenal. Best team I have ever fished with. The action was so good we let Coco catch a couple of fish one being a 130lb. sailfish that was the first he had ever caught. To see the smile on his face made our whole trip.
Thanks, again

Leanne,
Thank you for your quick emergency assistance
in putting our fishing charters back together after
our U.S. flight was cancelled due to mechanical
problems and the airline lost our luggage for more
than a day.My son, wife and I had a great tarpon fishing
adventure at the Rio Colorado Lodge with Dan Wise and
our fishing guide, "Speedy."I have never seen so many large tarpon congregated in
one fishery. We hooked ten tarpon between 100 and 150
pounds and boated two. Furthermore, Dan Wise is a
great host and story teller. The food was excellent,
accommodations were clean and the staff was courteous
and supportive. The Pacific sailfish charter in Quepos was first rate.
As you know, we fished on the Brothers Three. The Captain and crew
worked very hard to find fish for us.
We hooked and landed five sailfish each weighing more
than 100-110 lbs and a 40-lb Bull Dolphin. The
Mariposa Hotel where we stayed prepared the dolphin
for us and we had a fabulous eating experience. The
hotel was tremendous and had the best scenic view of
water, rocks, cliffs and flowers that I have ever
witnessed. We also enjoyed the Canopy Safari before
we came home.
Thanks again for your help and quick action.

Sam and Leanne,
Three of us went inshore fishing on the boat "On the Fly" for a half
day of awesome fishing. We couldn't have asked for a better boat. We
caught more than 30 fish that included 30lb.and 40 lb. rooster fish,
jacks, and mackerel. Almost every cast was a fish. We even saw flying
fish and dolphins. The boat was very clean, it had top of the line
fishing gear and was very well organized. Rudy, the captain, and the
deckhand worked very hard to make our trip perfect - and they succeeded!
Quepos Sailfishing Charters did a great job setting us up with this great boat and all
of our other accommodations. Thanks again for a great day of fishing!!

Dear Leanne:
We couldn't have been happier with the boats and the crews. World-Class tackle and work by both mate and captain on the Fishing Machine. I'm really glad we chose Quepos Sailfishing Charters - we had the best boats and the best service, in the U.S. from yourself & in Quepos from Zuyleko. It was a great experience, and my wife had a ball!: Fished 2 days offshore, 16 billfish bites, 8 sailfish released. Inshore 1 day for 4 roosters + jacks. I think we did pretty well, considering the slow year. Great boats, great crews, and Zuleyka is the bomb! She was just excellent.
Sending pictures of the wife (Beth), better to look at!

Leanne, Thank you for with our accommodations with Quepos Sailfishing Charters. everything went just as you promised. Daxc picked us up in a nice new van and took us to the villa. He was very good to us and made several stops along the way. He pointed out sights, etc. His speaking English is very good. When we arrived at the banks villa we were greeted by Rigo. He was equally nice and friendly. Each time we came or went, he was there for us arranging transportation, etc. The villa was clean and the view was not too bad either! Zuleyka met us at the dock and she along with Dennis were quite helpful. Both boats, captains, and first mates were excellent (the Caribsea was an A+). We averaged catching three sails a day and raised and hooked several others. People were saying the fishing was slower than usual due to El Nino, but we were thinking it was great. all went well and thanks for making the arrangements. If anyone wants references send them our way. I was going to get four shirts from Zuleyka but we missed her the final day. Let me know and I will get you the money for shirts. I heard you were in Texas while we were in Quepos so we never met but thanks again for all of your help.

We had an awesome fishing trip with you and on the "REALDEAL" during the month of November 2006. The trip proved to be an exciting venture. The Crew Captain and Deck Hand were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We booked a three day fishing trip with each day as successful as the day before!!! It couldn't have been more perfect... What a spectacular trip!!! The accommodations at Villa Banks were wonderful and the fishing... Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper... We certainly plan on returning to Quepos and booking another trip with you...Thank you "Quepos Sailfishing Charters" for a REAL FISHING EXPERIENCE...

Dear Leanne:
Our trip with Quepos Sailfishing Charters was wonderful. I highly recommend this trip for a father-son outing or as in our case - father, son and grandson. The crew was so attentive to my grandson. Taught him the how and why of everything. Your recommendation of Byblos Hotel and Resort and Casino was perfect for our needs. The ladies at Byblos hotel took my grandson under their wing and spoiled him even more. Thanks for the trip worth remembering.

Dear Sam & Leanne,
Our trip to Costa Rica was truly wonderful! A trip of a life time for me and the girls. The tours you suggested were great! And of course the deep see fishing was something we will never forget! Billy just sent some pictures of the fish that were caught that were awesome.
The captain and the crew were so friendly and helpful. Seeing the pod of dolphins come up along side and the whale and the sea turtles made the whole experience even that much more special!!!!
I also loved getting to know the two of you better as well...you make a great team!! Anyone using your services will have a special trip to Costa Rica....Good luck in all future plans...Maybe someday we will be able to return...I am spreading the word around and hope some friends will go as well...

Just wanted to express my thanks to the crew of Glen and Cheetah for the awesome trip we had on July 23.
I have recommended you all to all my friends and even posted your internet address on a fishing forum I frequent here in the US.

Ola Chica!!
Hey, your boat ROCKED, girl!!! Glenn and Cheetah were fabulous, and we had the absolute TOP fishing experience of our lives, BAR NONE! Anyway, I'll be forwarding some pix to put on your site if you need any more smiling customer photos at all!
Day 1: hooked up with this phenomenal school of dolphins, which had a bunch of tuna trailing them, and some mahi-mahi. Yum-yum did we eat good that day!
Day 2: went to the reef and just kept reeling up sailfish of about 100-150 lbs. Glenn kept score and he maintains we topped out at 14 - although that might have been optimistic. Either way - fantastic!
We made it a hobby of taking Jorge's job of pulling the beasts out of the water, which became a sport in itself. Like wrestling a doberman! Pretty cool!
Anyway, the Mariposa was great as well, what a poolside bar! Great folks and lots of good drinks - great chef as well!
I'm recommending the experience to ALL, and hopefully you'll get more folks calling you. We had a BLAST!

Hey Sam and Leanne!
Thanks for showing me what "real" fishing is all about! Who would believe that we would catch two big sailfish during the first two hours out on the REEL DEAL?
(My kids were very impressed with the picture of Cheetah and I holding that big 8 foot sailfish I caught.
Before the trip, the biggest fish I ever caught would have just been bait to you guys.) I had an amazing time with you and the Costa Rica crew over the last few days.
You make a great team and certainly have a talent for taking care of all the little details that make a trip to Costa Rica a memorable adventure.
Even more importantly - you can make a relative stranger feel just like family. You ARE the real deal! Say "hi" to Cheetah and Captain Glen for me - they were just amazing .
Looking forward to seeing you in July - and trying out that fabulous new hotel someday! Until then... Pura Vida! (or maybe even Tickity top?)

Att. Leanne just returned from 5 day charter on reel deal in Quepos and had to let you know we had a fantastic 5 days of fishing!
The weather was perfect and the fishing was red hot! We boated 45 sailfish and 2 huge mahi-mahi around 45-50 lbs.
I cant say enough about the reel deal.. it was very comfortable, very well stocked with food and beverages, and the tackle is top of the line!!! Capt.
Glen and first mate cheater are the best. Glen did a great job getting us on fish and cheater is the best mate I have fished with! (He also makes a great sandwich.) Can’t wait till next year’s charter. I will be counting down the days to see you next Feb. give my best to the entire crew.
Thanks

Hello Leanne,
Thank you for helping make our trip to Costa Rica so much fun. The Reel Deal and the Precedent were both wonderful to fish on. Both crews were super .
Mike and I hooked 26 sailfish and landed 16. We also hooked 3 roosterfish and 6 dorrado. The trip was all we could have hoped for and more. Again
It was a real pleasure to get to know Capt. Glen, and Senior Cheetah and fish on your fine boat. We look forward to making the trip again and will be contacting you later.

Leanne,
We had tremendous fishing on the 'Reel Deal'. Glen and Chita were a superb crew who knew how to find the fish and land them !! Recommend them highly and will be back. Two of us caught 24 sails in 2.5 days - tried for marling for half a day.
Most of the sails were large as shown.
Thanks for the arrangements.

Leanne,
What a Fishing Trip! The first day we caught 9 Sailfish, NOT to include
the ones that were hooked and got off. The second day we caught 14 Sail's .
The crew was incredible with Glen and Cheetah anticipating every need. The
food, fresh fruit and the ice cold Imperial on the boat was awesome.
The
first day home I have rebooked for next year and can't wait . We feel like
we have made lifelong friends with the boat and crew.
Thanks again for
everything! The REEL DEAL is truly the only real deal in Quepos for big game
fishing.

The second day we caught 2 snook, 1 corvina, 1 sail, and 1 dorado.
We had an excellent time, the boat was perfect, food was good, and staff were pleasant and excellent at their job. We will definitely try to come back.
Thanks,
Craig Glauser

Leanne,
I have been on a lot of fishing trips and I have never been on a trip that the team of Glen, Cheetah and Melissa ,The Reel Deal had set up for us in Quepos.
We were late arriving and did not get to fish until midday and still landed 6-Sails, We will tell everyone we see that this is the team to booked and rest assure when we return ,The Reel Deal will be my only choice.
When we left Quepos to return home, I knew we would see our new friends another day in Costa Rica.
Thanks for the GREAT FISHING!

Great boat and great crew! These guys really know how to support a fly guy! I managed to catch my first sailfish on the fly...135 lbs. @ 1hr-10min on a 12wt with 20lb class tippet!
A bit out-gunned on my 12wt. The next time I'll bring my 14wt. Many thanks to Dennis for those crucial tips I needed during the split seconds of the fish's strike. Hopefully I'll see you all again in February.
See the attached pic...the fish looks a bit nicer.
Thanks again.

Hello Leanne,
My father Bob caught an 8ft. sailfish and I caught a 6ft'er, and my brother Scott
caught a 35 lb tuna on that following date.
LOADS of fun. Just wanted to share the pics. I plan on coming down again hopefully within the next year!
Thanks for the adventure, looking forward to another one.

Leanne,
Enclosed are a few pics from our trip . We had a great time fishing . The
crew and boat were all Top Notch.
I have recommended your Boat to many friends
and associates .
Being a USCG Licensed Captain I appreciated the professionalism
and Hard work the crew, Capt Cheppie and 1st mate Jorge , provided.
The boat was one of the fastest in the fleet. The gear was top notch and the
overall experience was the "REAL DEAL". I have attached a few photos I took
on our trip. A BIG SMILE comes over my face when I look at them

Hi Leanne,
Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that we had the most fun and the crew on the Reel Deal were wonderful. Cheetah was absolutely incredible and he was really attentive to my daughter, Simone. Sheppy, our captain, was gracious and knew where the fish were. We caught 3 sailfish, 1 that was over 150LBS and 2 other that way over 100LBS.
We also had 3 other fish that got away. We caught Mahi Mahi and tuna and ate that for supper that night.
It was FANTASTIC! My goodness, even though it was not the high part of the season, it could not get any better that that. Please feel free to use my email. We look forward to book our next trip with your group next year.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi Leanne,
Thanks for the note you left in the Reel Deal log book for me. We had a great time. The crew was extremely proficient at their work. If the "Green Season" is supposed to be lots of rain and less than excellent fishing, you can't prove it by me.
It only rained one morning of the week we were there. We raised somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 sails and brought four onboard for photos. We also got in the middle of a tuna run so big there were tuna and spotted dolphins as far as the eye could see in all directions from the boat.
The dolphins put on a great show with jumps of up to thirty feet in the air. We ate fresh Sashimi during a short break from catching tuna thanks to Cheeta's having wasabi and soy sauce onboard. I can't say enough about the crew.
They were just fantastic. I took along my wife Donna, her twin brother David and his wife Lisa. You and the Reel Deal made me a vacation hero. Please let me know what future dates the Reel Deal is available. We're already planning a trip back! Thanks again for all the help in making this a fantastic fishing vacation.

Thank you for everything. We had an absolutely wonderful time in Costa Rica, which culminated in catching a very large sailfish aboard the Reel Deal.
The Quepos Sail Fishing Charters captain and fishing guide were amazing. It was a first class operation from start to finish: Dennis met us on the dock as soon as the gates opened and we were heading out to open waters by 6:02am.
The captain of the Reel Deal and the guide worked tirelessly throughout the morning, and just as we were about to turn back toward the dock, my step-son spotted that beautiful fin running alongside.
He hooked it and then proceeded to bring in his 7 foot, 145 lb sailfish within 15 minutes. We had a wonderful experience and will no doubt contact you again when we return to Quepos.
Pura Vida!

Just got back for Quepos along with eight of my good friends. We are all alive and kicking. Had a great time averaged around 11 sails a day on the Real Deal and the Carbisea.
Gilbert is the man he can take care of anything for you. We stayed in the Case Lydia which we had plenty of room and fantastic views.
We also had a chief come cook dinner for us one night ( highly recommended). Look forward to next year. Plan a few days for recovery!!!

Dear Leanne
We can't begin to thank you for all of your help in coordinating all of our vacation accommodations.
We just got our pictures back, and God we wish we were still there! I don't know which was more fun, Catching a Sail Fish, Zipping through the Jungle on the Canopy Tours, or Gilbert taking us out at Night! Can't wait to come back next year! Hope to meet you on this trip!

Dear Quepos Sailfishing Charters
Just got back from the most fantastic trip to Costa Rica. You people did top notch in meeting all of our needs.
Casa Samba was so beautiful and so much more elegant than we had anticipated. The website pics don't do it justice. Not only did we catch sail fish, but we had a double hook-up and landed both fish! Thanks again. Can't wait to come back.

Leanne,
We had a great time on your boat, “The Real Deal”. I caught some nice sailfish. Just wanted to say thank you for all of your help, and I can’t wait to come back. I don’t know when yet, but it will be soon.
I would like to know if there is a way to get a couple of pictures to Jorge’, your deck hand. Him and the Capitan did a great job. You are lucky to have them. Dealing with Jorge’ was almost as fun as catching fish, he’s a great guy. Thank you very much for the T-Shirts.
I don’t want to leave out Dennis, he really took care of us. Hope to talk to you soon, thanks again!

Well, it is back to reality. Just want to say thank you. We all
had a great time. Fishing was great.
The house was great and Gilbert could not have been more helpful,
even though he was walking around in a Pittsburgh Steelers shirt.(
We need to send him a Tom Brady shirt). Can't wait to do it again
next year.
Thanks again and I have include a picture of myself and my two
brothers
with a beautiful sail.

We all would like to thank you for an awsome great trip; the accommodations
were great.
The Fishing was just the way Sam described it would
be; plenty of action; Gilbert was an added special person who made
us feel welcome to his Costa Rica climate; You have got it together
and we are requesting this trip next year.
We recommend anyone going to Costa Rica to call or E-Mail your company.
Thanks. The Capose (6) six Pac.
