Quepos, Costa Rica Fishing Report February 2016
Rosario Robert and her husband had a heck of a day fishing Quepos on the 35 Cabo with 8 Sailfish and 3 Grouper.
Anglers Steve Burn, Tom Benton, Gary Tripodi and John Magner went 5 for 5 Sailfish today and 4 Groupers finishing there 3 day trip on our 38 Luhrs. See you guys again next year!
Clients on the 38 Luhrs had a fantastic Quepos Fishing charter raising 9 and landing 8 Sailfish great work and making captain Jesus one of the top producing boat in the fleet. Steve Burns got a very nice Roosterfish on his inshore trip on the 28 SeaMaster.
Steve Burns and his group got out and had a great day. Released 9 Sailfish on the 45 Viking. Next up they are going Inshore tommorow let’s see how they do. Good Job guys
Today we had 2 party’s out fishing the 28 got into fish mid day and raised 7 and landed 4 Sailfish. The 31 custom raised quite a few but clients where setting the hooks and only landed 2 sails. Today was the last day of the Quepos Billfish tournament. Wining boat FISH TANK with a total for 3 days 63 Sailfish!!
Group on the 33 had good day day fishing. 4 Sails and 4 YellowFin Tuna nice football size.
Quepos, Costa Rica Fishing Report January 2016
Today we had a crazy day. Mike Neilson and his group crushed it with Captain Jesus on the 38 Luhrs. Raised 14 and landed 9 Sailfish a great day fishing.
The Yorkman’s had there 2nd day out on the Quepos fishing grounds and rounded out their trip with 5 more Sailfish. Nice job guys.
Ed Yorkman and his wife got 2 Sails and a nice Big Eye Tuna on the 28 Bertram.
Still a lot of Tuna out there and everyone happy. The 38 had another great day with 4 Sailfish and 8 Yellowfin Tuna plus 1 huge Grouper.
The 38 Luhrs had Great day on the water 4 Sailfish and a bunch of Tuna.
Clients Jerry Isles and his party had 3 Sails. Then got into Tuna bunch of footballs then 1 Tuna over 100 lbs.
The owner of the 33 Dawson had heck of a good outing. 4 nice Sails today 15 to 20 Tuna, and a huge tuna got away after 1.5 hours of fighting the Giant.
Clients on the 31 Custom had a great day. Finding the birds working 20 miles offshore they new something was up. A huge school of Tuna. Boats over 20 YellowFin and most in the 20 to 40 pound range means lots of Tuna steaks tonight and plenty of Sashimi too.
3 Sails and 4 Dorado all over 40 pounds. They are going to be eating fresh fish for days.
Morick Manhas group got a late start to the fishing grounds but still Released 4 Sailfish
Today the Quepos fishing gods smiled down on Wayne Hall and company aboard the 38 Luhrs. Catching 2 Sailfish and the they hooked into a nice Blue Marlin 450 lb.
Today we had one boat out the 31 custom with the client Marcus Robinson and Samuel Vandervalk released 5 Sailfish.
Mike Fortune and his family had a great day out on the 33. They caught 2 Sailfish had 1 Marlin on for quite a while but lost it and got into Yellowfin Tuna.
The group on the 33 had a nice day with 5 sailfish.

Quepos, Costa Rica Fishing Report December 2015
Today we had 3 boats out on water. Jay whittle and his guests on the 38 had a good day. 3 Sailfish and 3 Amber Jacks. Stopping off for a swim was a nice outing.
Carl and his family had a great Quepos Fishing trip on the 36 Ft. Caught 5 Sailfish and 1 Marlin making for a good trip.
On 3rd boat JR Jefferson had a nice day out on the water releasing 4 Sailfish.
Well fishing has moved a little closer to shore. Boats are around 23 miles out. The 38 had a nice day with 5 Sailfish. Fishing both inshore and offshore is starting to really heat up. Who said little angler’s can’t reel them in.
Merry Christmas! Today was nice halfday inshore fishing in Quepos. 1 Large Snapper, 3 Roosterfish, 1 Seabass.
Group in the 31 custom found some fish. Raised 4 Sailfish, hooked 3 released 1 big Sailfish. Also raised 1 blue marlin.
Quepos inshore fishing is on fire. Half day inshore for Marco and sister Mariza, from New York was fantastic. Captain Marlin put them on the fish! 8 really nice Roosterfish with a couple huge ones plus 2 Jacks.
Well the crew on the 44 did it again. Our client Bill Rice and his 5 guests had a fantastic day. Mr. Marlin shows up to play but didn’t convert. Then came the 2 really nice Tuna and then rounded out the day with 4 Sailfish.
Today was about inshore fishing. Started mouth of the river. Getting 15 lb Snook and a 10 lb Sea Bass. Little later a feisty Roosterfish. Then off to secret sunken rocks where we got a very nice Snapper. Not bad for halfday inshore Quepos fishing.
Only couple boats out slow today the 38 had 3 strikes of Sailfish and then 1 nice Dorado 35 lb. at the end of day. Brought it to Agua Azul restaurant had a great dinner feeding everyone.
Fishing little slow today only 1 boat out. Raul Vega had 1 Sailfish and a very nice Marlin in the spread but couldn’t connect. That why they call it fishing not catching. He comes back every year we will see him next time out on the Quepos fishing waters.
Little slow for the fleet but we got lucky with 1 Sailfish and a nice YellowFin Tuna.
Trent Tatum and his crew wanted to try fly fishing for billfish. Raising 5 Sails and landing 2. It’s not as people think great job guys.

Today clients on the 31 had a fantastic day out on the Quepos waters hooking up and landing 2 nice Blue Marlin and 6 Sailfish. You can’t get much better then that congratulations.
Jeff Chandler and his guests had a great day catching 2 Sailfish and a very nice Costa Rica blue Marlin.
Fishing today for Fullday offshore git a great mixed bag. 1 striped Marlin, 1 sailfish and 1 shark plus 10 Bonitos.
Client Shelby Penni landed a nice Sailfish and beautiful big Dorado.
The guests on the 25 had a good inshore fishing Quepos trip today both landing very nice Roosterfish!
The 28 had a Marlin 1 Sail and a Dorado. The 31 has plenty of sushi with a big 100 lb. Tuna.

The guys in our Big Luhrs had a great day out on the water with Captain Jesus getting into a nice school of Yellowfin Tuna, landing 6 over 60 lbs. That’s a lot of sashimi for dinner tonight.

Al and Edith Mendoza and Erica Sanchez had a great day out on the Quepos fishing grounds. 5 Sailfish and 1 nice Dorado gave everyone some action out on the water today.
Brett Reamer had a fantastic Quepos fishing outing. With blue sky’s and glass like water he had lots of action with 11 Sailfish released.
3 boats out and everyone had great fishing. Zac David, Shane Bishop and Kevin Warshaw the 2nd and Kevin Warshaw had great success on the 31. With 6 Sailfish released everyone had some action!
Todays clients had a great day on our 31 out on the Quepos fishing grounds with 7 Sailfish released made for a lot of great action out on the water!

Today’s charter was really good! 10 Sailfish release and 3 Nice Yellowfin Tuna.
Today’s group on the 31 landed 2 big Sailfish trolling then went to Fruno and got 4 Snapper and 2 big Grouper for a tasty dinner back at thete villa.
Taylor Wiggins and his group had a nice fourth of July aboard the 42 ft. 3 sailfish, 8 red Snapper and 4 Grouper
Iran Pulfer and her group on our 31 ft. landed 1 big Sailfish and then went for dinner and caught 4 nice red Snapper.

Group on the 31 had pretty good day Quepos fishing. Went 3 for 6 on Sailfish then went to the Frurno for soon reef fishing 3 Snappers and 2 big Grouper.

Quepos fishing for today’s group on the 31 custom got into some nice schools of Tuna. Catching 17 Yellowfin Tuna averaging 30-40 lbs.
Who says you can’t spoil yourself and have some great Quepos fishing. We had a large group 10 on the big 60 ft. Custom Cat with the chef on board to cater to the guests. But let’s not forget about fishing. 8 Sailfish released and a nice Dorado gave the group a lot of action.
Quepos fishing charter for Don Milbauer was pretty good offshore on the 35 Cabo with 7 Sailfish caught and released made for some great action.
Bite was 30 miles offshore but the Sails showed up late and a few nice Dorado.
Had inshore clients that where pumped when landing a great Snook to finish a half day charter.
Today was a great Quepos fishing charter with our client Bill Choate and his family on there 2 day of a 3 day outing. 15 Sailfish and a Dorado made for a very busy fishing trip.
Bill Choate and his family released 5 Quepos Sailfish on the 31.
Ryan Dellinger and his group had a pretty good Half day inshore on the 25. They released 3 really nice Roosterfish and 1 Corvina.

Quepos fishing report Jan Stamm had a great day with the release of 8 Sailfish and got in the water for the release check out the pictures!
Brian Mccollon had a nice 250 pound Marlin release today.

Clients had great day with 8 Sailfish released.
Lacey Brakefield and her 5 pack had Good fishing aboard our 31 custom with 8 Sailfish being released.
Jack Plym and his group had a good Quepos fishing day on the 31 custom releasing 4 Sailfish. Clients on the 36 had 8 Sailfish and 2 Dorado.
Fishing raised over 20 fish and released 9 Sails.
The clients released 5 Quepos Sailfish.
The clients on the 33 Dawson had a steller day landing 22 Sailfish made for some fast Quepos fishing action they where beat.

Today the 35 Cabo had 4 sailfish released
Today a family had a great day out on the water on the 31 custom. They raised 10 and landed 7 Sailfish. Not bad for 1st time offshore anglers.
The 32 custom had a nice day releasing 8 sails and everybody was very happy!
Talk about a great fishing day. Doug Simmons on the 28 offshore today had 36 Sailfish. Bet he sleeps like a baby.
Quepos fishing is really on! The 36′ released 15 sails and The 31′ released 9 Sailfish today.
Robert Hvinden’s group today on the big 60 ft. Sport custom had a great day with 8 sails. The group of 14 kept the on board chief very busy.
Quepos fishing was great for the clients on the 31 They had 3 Sails and a very nice Striped Marlin.
The 45 Viking went 11 for 17 Sailfish released and a huge 40 lb Wahoo for the Grill Fishing is Hot!
2 boats out today little rainy start but punched threw and did great. The 31′ had 13 Sails and the 36′ came in with 12 Sailfish released and 1 Dorado.
A great day on the Quepos fishing waters with clients on the 31 having great luck 13 Sailfish and 2 Mahi Mahi.
Quepos fishing today full day offshore 14 Sailfish released.
Our inshore fishing guys today on our 25 center console had a slow start so headed offshore and released 6 Sailfish.

Today’s fishing report for the group on the 33 was a great day. 14 Sailfish and 1 Dorado.
David Nunnally on the 35 Cabo had a great quepos fishing outing today with 9 Sailfish and 1 Dorado for dinner.
Quepos inshore fishing report today was great for our clients on the 25 center console 3 nice Roosterfish and some Jacks.
The 35 Cabo had a hot Quepos fishing report with 8 Sailfish and a really nice 40 Pound Dorado which gave a great fight.
The fishing is staying pretty hot and the blue water line is moving in. Today had 9 Sailfish and clients said the crew on the 36 where best they ever fish with. In a little early but still the 31 came in with 7 Sails and 2 Dorado.
Great day for clients on the 31, 9 sails a great full day charter.
Quepos fishing is really going song with lots of Sails and Dorado running. Clients on the 31 had 7 Sails and 2 nice Dorado today and were very happy.
The Quepos fishing report for today was great Randy Turner caught 4 Sailfish and landed a very nice 350 lb. Blue Marlin for a fine release.
