Meet the little engine that could — guest Dusty headed out for some Quepos fishing on the 28’ SeaMaster and had a great day offshore, landing 10 Sailfish! Meanwhile, our friends on the 38’ Luhrs had what they called “the perfect day,” releasing 12 Sailfish. Fishing in Quepos right now has never been better!
Sailfish – Sailfish – Sailfish! If you’re one of the lucky vacationers who got out onto the Quepos waters today then you got a little peek at heaven! Daniel Shelton and his group certainly did, out on our 31’ Custom, and managed to catch and release 10 Sailfish today. Way to go!
Our other guest for the day, Larry Johnson on the 38’ Luhrs, had a great bite, too — he managed to land 9 Sailfish.
Well, today was by far our best Quepos Fishing Report for one of our top boats. Jesus and crew had a epic day on the water with an amazing 19 sailfish released! This was the most fish caught by one boat in our 2016 high season. So, the 38’ Luhrs has been on fire and always trying to outdo themselves, but that’s going to a tall order after today’s count of 19 sailfish! That’s even better than the 31’ Custom, which everyone swears has been blessed. We don’t know about all that, but we do know the blessing wasn’t enough to beat Jesus and crew today.
A last minute group request worked out pretty good. We managed to get them out on the water aboard our 38’ Luhrs, and the extra effort paid off for our Danish guests — landing 8 Sailfish, and making it a perfect afternoon outing.
Jesse Cordoza had an amazing day of offshore fishing in Quepos, and raised 13 Sailfish with 11 landed, on the 30’ Gamefisher. He’s going out again on Saturday with the same crew — let’s see if he can beat his own record!
Mike Anderson had a great day with Quepos Fishing out on today’s beautiful Costa Rican waters. He released 8 Sailfish by day’s end.
Some of our other guests Kathy and Lance Webber did well today, too, with 5 Sailfish and 7 Tuna. Nice job, guys!
Rosario Robert and her husband had a heck of a day fishing Quepos on the 35’ Cabo, and brought in 8 Sailfish and 3 Grouper.
Anglers Steve Burn, Tom Benton, Gary Tripodi, and John Magner went 5-for-5 on Sailfish early today, and closed out with 4 Groupers. Today marked the end of their 3-day fishing trip on our 38’ Luhrs. See you guys again next year!
Guests on the 38’ Luhrs had a fantastic day on their Quepos Fishing charter, raising 9 and landing 8 Sailfish. Great work! Captain Jesus was at the helm of one of the top-producing boats in the fleet for today.
Meanwhile, Steve Burns got a very nice Roosterfish on his inshore trip on the 28’ SeaMaster.
Guests Steve Burns and his group were out on the Quepos fishing waters aboard the big 45’ Viking, and had a great day. They managed to release 9 Sailfish. Next up, they’re going inshore fishing tomorrow — we’ll see how they do! Good job for the day, guys.
Today we had two parties out fishing our beautiful Quepos waters. The 28’ got into fish midday, raising seven and landing 4 Sailfish. The 31’ Custom raised quite a few, but our guests aboard were setting their own hooks and only landed 2 Sails. Today was the last day of the Quepos Billfish Tournament, with the winning boat, Fish Tank, demolishing their competition with a 3-day total of 63 Sailfish!! I´d day they earned their trophy.
A fun day for our guests out on the 33 had good day day fishing in Quepos. They caught 4 Sailfish and 4 Yellow Fin Tuna – they were all a nice football size. We all had a great time!
Got a large group and want to charter a fishing boat in Quepos? The big 45’ Viking is a great choice, able to go offshore and inshore with ease, and a fantastic fun cruising speed of 30 knots (and a top speed we haven’t found yet). When this big boat turns, itś like it is on rails! Just a fantastic ride. It is a popular choice, so Call Ahead to make your reservations!
