Quepos, Costa Rica Fishing Report July 2016 | Quepos Fishing
Today the 38’ Luhrs and guests were doing some Quepos offshore fishing, and went looking for Tuna. Thanks to the captain’s experience, and our guests’ angler skills, they sure found what they were looking for! Total for the day was 4 Tuna! (And a Sailfish.)
The 31’ had a great family as guests today, and they went offshore looking for adventure. And what memories they got to make! The family landed 4 Roosterfish, some over 45 pounds. We expect that those family pictures are going to end up on some Christmas cards this year…
Fishing out of Quepos was good for this half-day offshore 38’ Luhrs charter fishing trip. Guest Joshua Herron caught a really nice Tuna and a huge Sailfish.
The 31’ Custom, rumored to be blessed, had a fantastic couple of days out on the Quepos waters. Several catch-and-release Sailfish and a really nice 200-pound Blue Marlin, also released. Several other Quepos Fishing charter boats caught Marlins, too. It’s been good biting for Marlins!
